May 2010 - TXM opens office in China

TXM now has a permanent representative office in Shanghai. We are working with major global companies operating across China to improve their operational performance and that of their Chinese suppliers through the implementation of lean and the Toyota Production System. With costs increasing in China manufacturers are needing to embrace lean approaches.

We are particularly pleased to welcome Tim Zhang to our China team. He has more than 10 years experience in implementing lean.

February 2010 - Victorian Small Business Minister launches TXM project at Britannia Metal Industries

On February 8th the Victorian Small Business Minister, Joe Helper, was present to handover a Victorian Government Grant to Britannia Metal Industries, enabling the company to engage TXM to reduce the order lead times. October 2009 - TXM features in Australian Manufacturing Technology magazine

The October 2009 edition of the Australian Manufacturing Technology magazine includes two articles by TXM Principal Tim Mclean. The first is called “Lean processes deliver quick order turnaround” and the second is titled “Making material flow”. The articles highlight the value of lean production systems and efficient production processes.

August 2009 - A busy month of keynote addresses for TXM Principal Tim Mclean

August was a busy month for TXM Principal Tim McLean with keynote addresses at three different events. He spoke at the Precision Sheet Metal Industry Collaborative Conference on “Taking on the challenge of low cost countries” then at the Association for Manufacturing Excellence Conference on “Improving leadership behavious for sustainable lean cultures”. Tim finished the month with a keynote address to the Australian Food Engineering Association on”Fixing problems and finding waste - Quality and lean fundamentals for food engineers.” Contact Tim for more information.
