Southern Best Practice Network

Southern Best Practice Network launches Quality Systems Project with TXM

Southern Best Practice Network is a group of five small supported employment services in the southern suburbs of Melbourne. The five organisations provide employment to people with intellectual disabilities in a range of activities including light assembly, packing and gardening.

TXM has been invited by Southern Best Practice Network, with the support of Business Victoria, to assist the network to build common business processes. The aim of the project is to help the group to work together more effectively and to provide a higher standard of quality and service to their customers.

The project was launched on 23 January 2008 with a one day workshop facilitated by TXM Quality Consultant, Ruth Oakley, to introduce the network members to quality assurance concepts and agree on key business processes. The workshop was launched by Rob Hudson MP, the State Member for Bentleigh and Parliamentary Secretary for Transport and the Arts.
